Let's play a little label game. At the recommendation of my coworkers, I decided to try Blue Bell ice cream. It was okay. One particular ingredient seems very odd to me though. See if you can guess which one.
I can forgive the long list of colorings and artificial flavors, but...an ingredient breakdown for almonds? Almonds are just almonds! Aren't they?
According to the column on the left, Bluebell ice cream uses only the freshest and finest ingredients money can buy. They also "mix in a little love." The result? Partially hydrogenated soybean oil and high fructose corn syrup, just the way Grandma used to make it.

Why are you adding partially hydrogenated oil (AKA trans fat) to your almonds, Blue Bell ice cream?
